Requirements

Eligibility Criteria Details
Age Typically 18–35 years (varies by industry)
Skill Test Relevant vocational or Technical skills in sectors like Construction, Caregiving, IT, Manufacturing, etc.
Japanese Language Minimum JLPT N5 and N4 (basic communication)
Health Must pass a medical checkup
Employment Offer Must have a job offer from a registered Japanese employer
Documentation Passport, certificate of eligibility, skill/qualification proof, employment contract

Salary & Benefits Equal pay and benefits as Japanese workers under labor law
Stay Duration 1 to 5 years (renewable depending on contract & performance)

Permanent Residency Path Can upgrade to **SSW Type-2**, which allows longer stay and family visa option
